Verwegen Weimaraners

About us

I have been in Weimaraners since 2004 but have only been working them for the last two years. I strongly believe the Weimaraner should be used as it was originally bred for and I get much enjoyment from watching my dogs work. I compete in Gundog working tests in the summer and hopefully will work upto Field Trial level. My dogs are also valued members of a picking up and beating team on a local shoot.Our newest addition to our family is Luna (Aeneas Moon Song for Verwegen) she made breed history in April 2010 when she became the youngest Weimaraner ever in the UK to have been graded at a Spring Pointing Test at just seven and a half months old. She is showing great potential for her working career.
